Iβm impressed of how you placed the fan in the picture.
I never get this big thing properly in a picture, without making it look badβ¦
The pose looks strong and expressive.
And the perspective makes it even better.
Youβve done this really well.
It will be one of my favorite pieces of Madara Fan Art.
I love it. Itβs brilliant artwork!

Β Β Looking real good there.Β It's kind of hard to tell which part is the traditional art and which part is the digital here, though.Β If you're doing it like I have, I usually only use digital when "cleaning up" an image scanned onto disk for posting online, or adding text and colors to black and white line art.
Β Β I'm one of those people who're still following the Naruto series, if only to see what the creator is going to do with those characters.Β It looks like Madara is the big bad right now, although a few others have been given significant power-ups (including the protagonist Naruto himself).Β They've only just gotten started on the latest conflict in the story now, but I expect something of a resolution before next year is out.Β You can only advance a story so far at 18 pages a week, with only 48 weeks or so a year to publish it.

Great insight! For me, it's a good thing when people can't tell the mediums apart. The thing is, pencils, paper, markers, Wacom tablets and computers are ultimately just tools. Having the ability to transcend both traditional and digital means of creating art and combining them seamlessly is what I strive for. Much like other people who don't tweak line art with manual coloring to preserve its beauty, I don't edit my stuff through photoshop or whatever means available if I'm already satisfied with it. On the other hand, I would opt to enhance the image either manually or digitally if I feel that I can reach a different level of art in so doing--without thinking technically in terms of the means by which I'll try to up the ante (manual or digital rendering).
With this image, everything in the final product can be achieved manually, but as I said in the description, I was 'road-testing' each and everyone of the new materials I had. It was awesome
Yeah, Madara's the big dog now. It's a pain waiting for each new chapter weekly! But ya gotta hand it to the author, the story is very consistent.
