Description
She's tall and blond with eyes of the sweetest blue. They all love her, girls want to be her and boys clamour around her. But sometimes, during the long lingering summer months, she reaches out to her mirror. She reaches and places her slender, pale hand onto that of the reflection's. She reaches out and she smiles.*
She's quite short and her hair is mousy, with eyes hidden behind thick glasses. Nobody loves her, girls tease her and call her names. Boys won't go near her. But sometimes, during the short sharp winter months, she reaches out to her mirror. She reaches and places her hand, written all over in self afflicted scars, onto that of the reflection's. She reaches out and cries.

Because the perfect girl loves who she sees.

Because the other girl hates what she sees.

But, what neither of the girls know, is that the reflection which they touch is different to what they see before them. In that small moment they were both holding the hand of the other. The perfect girl's reflection was that of the other girl's, and the other girl's reflection was that of the perfect girl's.
It doesn't matter how perfect or how ugly you may think yourself to be. There is always a flipped image. There will always be a mirror. There will always be a truth.

Maybe. It's interesting though, but I just find it puzzling when the boring, vanilla blonde-blue-eyed girls are stereotyped as the pretty, confident ones... we have insecurities too!

And of course some of the 'larger' less attractive girls can have masses of confidence and whatever.
Deep down I doubt anyone is happy with how they look or whatever, and to be honest all the slim attractive blond girls I've met have been lovely (it's the brunettes you have to look out for 
I'm not predujiced in any way towards any one, it was just the way a quick un-planned sketch story panned out and I'm sorry if it's offended you in any way.

It was a little confusing, but I got the impression that the story was more black and white - being tall and blonde, doesn't always mean you're popular and you love yourself

Meh, It was bound to be confusing, I was going to scrap it originally but then a couple of people seemed to like it so I kept it up.

I guess it depends on how you read it? when the blond girl looks into the mirror does she see the other girl?

There is no perfect girl. Many girls, considered lovely by others, don't think much of their looks. A girl holds up a mirror, and the ones next to her are envying her blonde, glossy hair, and full lips. Do you know what she's thinking about? She's thinking that no one could love her, because her skin is freckled and pimpled, her eyes are too close together, and that her nose is monstrously big. She has long legs, which all the girls grudge her, but she feels like a broomstick and longs to be petite. She is slim, and feels like a man because she has no curves. You see what I'm getting at?
