Description
With all this nice computer equipment at my disposal, what do I have the sudden urge to do? Paint.Mind you I haven't done any large work since high school (I did a few abstract pieces at century, but they were abstract and not really worth noting), so getting back into the swing of things was way easier then I thought it was going to be.
oh details:
- 15x17" canvas (I believe... i might be a touch off)
- acrylic paint (i'm not a big fan of oils)
- gloss on the bottle (that's why it photographed so very very shiney)
and it's totally available to buy. So if you would like it, or any art for that matter, just drop me a note and we can work something out.

Goodness no, I painted this YEARS before Ponyo (actually I just wiki'd it and apparently Ponyo was 08 and apparently I painted this in 07?... well.. a year before Ponyo I guess but it sure seemed like forever ago.... wait I did this is 07? huh that sounds way wrong... wow I'm getting off on a tangent)

aw, what a happy little fish. i actually like the shimmering effect the gloss added in the photo, it makes it seem a bit magical.

I think it's a really cool piece
though I suppose it would look better if I were to see it in person
if the container were just slightly up more and a little bit more to the right it would look a little better I think
cuz the rest does look empty
but maybe there is a lot more texture I can't see so yeah, I'd like to see it in person for sure

yea i wanted the focus really on the bottle fish, and since my style is pretty simplistic I just left it open. But technically there is a lot of textures going on in there that you can't see very well cause it's just a photo of the piece....
