Description
Decided to try some design practice between grinding inbetween frames.
I've always liked those blue painted ceramics, there's a sophistication to the patterns that I'm quite fond of.
I guess quick backstory?
Long ago, the village had been the target of raiders and misfortune, they could not keep up the production of crops to feed themselves and the landlord's taxes. The people decided to pray to the lord of the soil and ground, 土地公. With the constant raids, all they could give as an offering was a porcelain vase, a lantern, and a simple gold band that had escaped the carnage. 土地公 heard their prayers, he had seen what little the people had and what little they could give. He transformed their offerings into a guardian to protect them from the raiders. With that, 护送 was born.
护送 was made of porcelain and blessed with powerful magic to guard the village. However, every time he uses his magic, his body begins to crack.
Due to his fragile body, 护送 had to remain a safe distance until he was needed by the villagers. He guarded them with his magic and had suffered wounds from his various attempts to protect the village. The stories and sightings of the protector had passed on from generation to generation, an understanding to not seek him out, as he was always watching. 护送 had grown to be an asocial being, but cared immensely for the well being of his village.
