Description Harry, Ron, Hermione, Seamus, Dean, Neville, Lavender, Parvati

I wanted to experiment with different facial features--I worry about getting too generic, and wanted to really put a lot of thought into the characters.

For instance: Harry's eyes are always described as "almond shaped." I always thought ALL eyes are almond shaped... Nope! I looked it up! Almond shaped eyes are considered the "perfect" proportion--the curve on the top is the same as the bottom. So I looked around at all different types of eyes and it was really interesting! Some curve at the outer edges on the bottom, but not at all on the top, some look more square, some are very, very round... Now I just need to focus a bit more on noses and mouths!

Ron's hair didn't really work out the way I pictured. My Wacom tablet has declared war on my Windows 7, so I have no pressure sensitivity. It makes things like hair very difficult. Hoping to revisit this when my technology is behaving!

This looks really good and makes me want to practice too! But I so understand the whole tablet Windows issue. I have the same problem a lot of the time. I tend to just unplug the tablet then replug it in a little while later. It tends to work. Or restarting the program.

I ended up getting an Intuos 5 for my birthday, so there's no more issue with those drivers. But I'm having to get used to the fancy new features on the 5--mainly that it's a touch pad!

Lavender has always kind of fascinated me by her ridiculousness. She just knows what color she likes and goes for it--regardless of how it looks. I like to think Parvati has slightly more sense, but not much.

Awesome headshots! Actually, you did pretty great with the facial features: these don't look generic to me, I'd say there's actually a... variety of different features here

Out of all, Seamus and Parvati are my personal favorites, but I think they all have a bit of their personality shown there

And funny about the Almond eye thing! I have been thinking the exact same thing! I think I have to read about it too! Sounds really interesting!

Thank you! I had fun making up an image for Lavender. I just pictured her with overly-bright jewelry and too much make up. And I wish I had Parvati's hair too! I never understood why people would use blue as highlights in black hair, but then I watched Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain, and saw that blue really was in his hair!

Yeah! I know, It feels weird, but it looks right. Just like drawing a shadow that is shown in the pic. I am drawing, but looks really really weird on my pic.

I have to say - I was really surprised that I ended up in gryffindor. I'm not brave at all.. I think I'm Neville! Except not as brave

Heh - I think that duel thing is kind of weird. Oh well.. I'm looking forward to Chamber of secrets! Yeah!
