(There are reasons why I need a tablet...and why I prefer Paintshop Pro to Photoshop. Yeah, all the work I do is penciled, usually inked and colored with a mouse in Paintshop Pro. For some reason, I decided to use Photoshop this time and to not ink it. Oy vey. It would have been so much easier with a tablet...if I had one...but those are so expensive. Suki's costume was, as usual, villianous. My Sokka skills needs work...)

Well, you had to figure I had one of these lying around here. I mean, really. Sokka and Suki? Come on. Of course I have one.

This is actually, I think (unless another one is hiding on me), my only Sokka/Suki-ish pic. You can read what you want with Sunflowers and Mourning, but this one is more closely Sokka/Suki...ish. I don't know if I'll really ever have something that says: Sokka+Suki4eva! I just can't bring myself to commit to a real kissy piece for Sokka (Suki on the other hand...now she locked lips with Jet in a sketch I did a while back...THAT was a kiss!). This one seems almost calm...sad?...like they should hug shortly after it, give a melancholy little laugh/shrug, and step away awkwardly and say, "Bye." Or maybe I'm just in a sad mood and I'll read all my pics as sad for a while. I don't know.

Like Meng [link] I found this again when digging through my folder on the desktop comp. This one was almost finished, except for a few touch-ups. I had almost forgotten about this piece entirely except that I kept spotting the original sketch...A few touch ups turned into a full scale work.

I almost want to consider this a work-in-progress. I may touch this up again and scrap this version...this pic, for all it's faults (I wanted them closer...leaning...everything was wrong) still might become an ongoing project.

The background is a modified screencap of...you guessed it...Kyoshi Island.
