That's exactly how it bounces off walls. It absorbs the impact, causing the shield's own kinetic energy to be unaffected, which means it doesn't lose any momentum and can keep going.

Oh, these two together would be hysterical. Plus, comic book science-Cap's response is perfect.

I would say that when it disperses the energy, it "bounces" but really yeah, comic book nonsense that we all think is cool lol

I think what happens is the shield is able to retain all of its kinetic energy, hence why it doesn't slow down.

Oh my god, I LOVE THIS. Not just seeing her point it out, but just seeing them together is great.

Ask Princess Shuri; I strongly suspect that she's the only person on Earth who really understands how Vibranium/Adamantium alloy works.

I figure the edges of the shield aren`t great at absorbing energy or made with a different alloy so that those at the least can impact and not absorb every hit.
Magic works too tho.

No. The shield retains all kinetic energy, which keeps it from slowing down after each impact. No kinetic energy is lost to the objects it impacts.

if the advanced science is recognizable from black magic, its not sufficiently advanced...

Have always wondered about the energy absorb but it bounces part. Perhaps only the middle absorbs and the edge reflects. Great crossover. Superb.

Again, it's not 'pure' vibranium, but an alloy.
