I’d like you all to meet, Lydia, Millie, and Odin!
(The 2 Lydia’s are the same person)

BACKSTORY TIME
The year is 2721 and civilization has never been as chaotic as it is now. Robots roaming everywhere, criminals running around loose in the streets. The one rule of the city is to trust no one. This story is about Lydia, Lydia is a moment away from ending it all. She has lost most of her family and friends and does not own a robot. She wishes her life could be even a bit exciting. One day, she got a phone call from an unknown number. Since Lydia’s life was as boring as watching grass grow, she answered it. To her surprise, it was a secret agency that was testing a new simulation and needed a test subject to see if there was anything to work on or get rid of. They asked if Lydia would like to be a “guinea pig” to their project. She accepted and asked some understandable questions which were all somewhat answered. She saved the contact on her phone and completely forgot about it.

A month or two later, Lydia got the same phone call. The simulation was ready for testing. As Lydia entered the building, she saw all sorts of buttons, gizmos, and what not.

Unnamed characters (that you will soon meet) welcomed and thanked her for volunteering. The simulation was a city a lot like hers but more simpler and peaceful. In the simulation there are two characters, 123M and 345O (aka Millie and Odin). Lydia has joined the simulation and explored around. She had an agent in her ear to talk to and write notes to. The designs where somewhat realistic. She then stumbled a pond Millie and Odin. Millie was a happy, supportive, and clingy. Odin was relaxed, cool, and had a temper. Lydia got very comfortable with the two and began to come very close to them.

ANGST TIME >
Lydia was in that simulation for about two days average. She was so happy to wake up everyday knowing she could come to the agency to meet her friends. One very unfortunate day, an agent told Lydia that h the simulation was not very necessary and was gonna be shut down. Lydia was heartbroken and asked if there’s anything she can do around help it stay running. The agent gave her 2 years to see if there was anything useful to do with it. Therefore, Lydia knows something that Millie and Odin don’t. Their world may be erased form existence.

Character Details
See that swirl circle on Lydia’s shirt? It’s a restart button to restart the day. If she taps it twice (really quickly) it resets the month. If she taps it three times (really quickly), it resets the whole simulation.

The plug tales are what they plug in when going to sleep to recharge.

The “on buttons” in their eyes show how they are on. The “on button” on Lydia’s cheek is also a symbol of her being on. If she clicks it that’s how she powers done or leaves the simulation.

I’m actually really proud of how this AU and characters look.
