2011 has started! Well, I'm still working hard (see my last journal), so I'm late to post some draws, I'll post as soon as I scanned, right?

This one I did for my comrade Layla (teacher of Anima Academia de Arte) for the 'Secret Friend' (wee, also known as 'secret santa', but I hate Santa, so I use the brazilian name) we did in Anima. I was choosed by (:striderden, but he don't scanned the draw, so I'll do it soon.

I choose to draw a brazilian mithologic dragon (called Boitatá, a fire snake who carries the eyes of his victims, protecting the Amazon, the great central swamp and the south) with a native indian, and a japanese dragon with a samurai (in some mithologies, japanese dragon have 9 tails, or 9 heads), ecause Layla is half japanese, half brazilian (I need to say that she's teaching Mangá?).

Valeu pelo comentário. O dragão brasileiro, na verdade, é a lenda conhecida como "Boitatá", e como so rimeiros habitantes de nossas terras têm ascendências orientais, é certeza de que se inspiraram nos antigos dragões chineses e japoneses para desenvolverem suas crenças.

I took about 5 or 6 hours (not in sequence), since the reference caption until the final ink.
