Was trying something new I'm not to happy with how it turned out but hey this was my first attempt at trying to do a painterly drawingcritiques will be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm...where to start?
Well, first of all, I absolutely love the soft coloring on this piece, the lighting is also very impressive. I do however notice that the coloring is a bit blocky on some places, mostly on the green in the eyes. The divide where gray meets red on his tail is also a bit strange in the way it seems that it ends in blocks rather than the streaks that most people expect, but I'm not sure if that's what you were going for so I won't give any positive or negative comments on it. Overall, this is a very nice piece that has amazing lighting and shading!

But maybe softer lines or thiner ones would make the "smooth" effect more eficient ^^
