I decided to do a redraw of this picture: penguineatscarrots.deviantart.…This was fun to do : D nice to see how much i've improved in just 1 1/2(?) to 2(?) years
Maybe I'll redraw this one again next year! xD

I always felt so sorry for Dustpelt during all of this, out of all the Canon pairings he was always just the best mate that put all of his spare time and attention into Ferncloud, I can think of multiple instances in the books where there was a little side mention of them "sharing tongues" (grooming each other) or him bringing food to her in the nursery and just in general doting on her and I would just be like "Awww!!!!"
And then they had all these kits together and I'd just be like "Dude they're just the best couple!".
And then the Erins killed her and I'm just like ".............".

This one, in my personal opinion, is better due to Dustpelt's face. The expression can change everything in a picture and due to you not writing the Warriors books, it would be harder to get the correct emotion out since you don't know exactly what Dustpelt is thinking. Good job!

i totally agree with you D: especially since dustpelt's one of those cats who doesnt seem to like showing any weakness, or really opening up to anyone that much. so that just adds to the sadness in my opinion ;-;
