Description pg 17 of the slumber party.

Experience notes:

I should really do story boards first before trying to pull scenes out of my ass like this . Things will probably go smoother.

Bleehhhh... damn my inconsistencies XD.

It's better to write a script. After all, a comic is a collection of story boards with a great deal more detail. I can help with script writing, if you need some tips.

Great Linework,How Do You Do That Without Smugging It?

I work from left to right since im right handed. Also I tell the lines " NO!"

But mainly I draw really light lines with a hard lead in my .3 mech pencil then go over them with a softer lead in my .5 mech pencil and then play with the levels in photoshop after scanning.

Hmm... You go from harder lead to softer? That's interesting. o.o I usually go backwards--maybe I should try it your way sometime.

Well harder leads like 4H don't show up on the paper too much while something like 4 B shows up really well. Sure the softer leads tend to smudge but lining the pic with the softer leads tend to haev less smudges since there isn't much sketching going on.

True. I guess I just get all paranoid 'cause I keep all my art in a sketchbook, and a few pieces have been ruined by smudging. ._.
