).Dragon Quest: Dai No Daibouken was one of my favourites animes from my childhood. Here in my country the TV show was known as "Fly, o pequeno guerreiro". Dai was known as Fly and Hyunkel was known as Jenki. BTW, Hyunkel was one of my favourites characters. He has the BEST armor of all the times! It has an amazing design (I loved the way he kept his sword in his helmet).
Unfortunately the series has not ended. It's a shame ...

dude theres a manga version that came first. the anime followed the manga pretty much PERFECTLY. they only made 46 episode (which sucks bad) but there are 349 chapters. if you want to see the ending, you should totally read it. (warning, be prepared for tear-jerkers)
