Description When the light died away

And shadows got closer

I lost my way

In the dark I searched for a path

Once it was as clear as the sun

Now it was merely as far

I searched in the dark

Days after days

With just a little flair of hope hold tight

Losing track of time was just the beginning

Soon I couldn’t remember how I had been

Eventually my flair off hope died out

Feeling all alone I kept walking

In search of my path

Finally in the dark I found one

Not knowing I had found the wrong

Overfilled with joy I let it take me down

But someone kept me from tumbling

In the dark I smacked into my equal

Neither off us knew our path had crossed

Slowly getting up

We searched the ground next to us

Then I saw a little spark of light right next to me

Crawling over the ground

My hand found yours

Your spark slowly grew

When I asked you how this was possible

You answered me with words so kind and gentle

“My light died out long ago”

Puzzled I placed my hand over your heart

Realizing you couldn’t see your own light

Then you spoke again filling my heart with joy

“But your spark is still so bright and beautiful”

Wrapping my arms around you

I told you never to let me go

So you placed your hand in mine

Together we took off

Helping each other along the way

Learning each other how to see our own spark

And finally finding our way into the light

I love the way you have layed out this poem... it gives it that extra something, if that makes sense. Really nice word choice too
