Lol. It's normally the kids whose parents have read to them since they were really young that end up as book worms. I've noticed a huge difference between my friends who do like reading and those who don't. Those who do say it's because their parents read to them, those who didn't said theirs didn't read to them at all. My parents read to me a lot, so i'm a really huge book worm XD

Probably cuz you have a good understanding of the subjects. I was like that with geography from 8th till 9th grade. There were often times when i didn't know we were having tests, and i while everyone else has studied, I would find out on the test day itself, but i'd end up with the highest grade at the end.

Oh lord I HATE geography and History xD I only past those to classes with C's WHICH was still better then the rest of my class since everyone hated the subject... Except the book worm in our class she passed all her classes with A's except for Accounting xD that was MY subject I never fail in.

When we hit 10th grade, if you're in humanities you got to choose between some f the subjects. Instead of accounting, i took history, cuz i hate math. Instead of Geography, i took art, because no way in hell was i giving up art.
and i got to pick between studying english as a first or second language, since it's my first, that's what i went with, because the one as a second language is easy. As for foreign language, i had a choice between french, arabic and malay. I went for Arabic since i know that way more than malay. It would have actually been useful to take malay cuz i live in malaysia, but the exam was way too hard so i took my safer choice. And when i hit 11th grade, i got to swap out my combined science for biology, so i always had to leave my class and go join the science students in their class.

Well you see there's the thing, no matter what grade you are in my school you take what you get, you couldn't pick subject and that's just the way it is. Only thing you can pick is the second language which is either Afrikaans or this other language I have no idea what it's called in English. Everyone has to take English since all our subjects are in English so yeah you could only pick your a second language and I went with Afrikaans since that's actually my first, English would be my second. But what surprises me is that I'm way better at writing in English then afrkaans XD but this is what happens when your doing a lot of English at school and obviously the Internet.

my friend who was from south africa wanted to take the Afrikaans exam that was provided by Cambridge, but some teachers advised her against it because there were no teachers who could teach it.Β

2 of my friends were lucky, one wanted to take german, and my history teacher just happened to be german. The other wanted to take japanese, cuz she's japanese, and she could tutor herself in it with the help of her mom

I love German, mean I can't speak it but my dad's mom and dad is German xD so I got dem German blood, that and because my mom took a bit of german in school which makes me love it even more.

I used to know a little german when i was 6 cuz i had a friend who was half german, and whenever i went over to her house, we'd end up watching german cartoons, and her and her brothers would translate for me until they'd get so absorbed by the cartoon that they would forget to translate, so i had to figure stuff out
