I actually finished this about three weeks ago, but my scanner was much to small. This took me about an hour or two to paint. Its been sitting on my wall for a while now. There are NO photoshop edits to this other than 'levels' . This painting is 100% Traditional. I would like to know what your favorite aspect of this is. For this I would love to have more than just one word comments. I love all the sweet things you guys have to say about my art, but this is an important piece to me.

I don't know why but this reminds me of a dreamscape
Also your use of directionality is very good and you know how to put just enough that our brains fill in the rest. I mean even though I logically know it isn't my eyes and brain fool me into thinking the grass is slightly moving as if blowing in a breeze I think you created an optical illusion and you most definitely taped into our brains tendency to clump things that would to a non human mind just be arbitrary splotches into something that seems there and very much alive I can't remember the term....something-graphia I think

I love the texture created from your use of brush strokes, the wings look really defined and the contrast between the greenery and FS's mane is very striking. I love this!
