I fell into the harbor around this ship and I up and drowned.

A new canon-in-my-nextgen pairing and a new baby to go with it~! I realized how few mares I have, then everything got outta hand, and here we are!

1. Trixie and her ‘Lightly’, early in their courtship~ X3 Their romanced is based on a solid foundation of stroking each other’s egos to the point of being inappropriate in public, avert your eyes if you’re a foal please. Trixie attended one of the Washouts shows for the fun of it, was impressed, pretty much forced herself into Lightning’s space to chat with her, and they were each so charmed by the other’s confidence that they agreed to a date that evening, and just went from there.

2. With her helmet in one wing and her woman in the other metallic one, we have an older, considerably more battle-scarred and grumpy Lightning Dust! They’re married and parents this point, but they never lost that flirtatious spark that got them started in the first place (even though it looks one-sided here, it isn’t usually

3. The foal herself, Trixie and Lightning Dust’s daughter, Light Show! From a young age she demonstrated an extreme amount of control over pegasus magic compared to the norm, presumably thanks to her unicorn genes. She can use her wings almost like a rudimentary horn to channel her natural magic—though she can by no means cast actual spells, she’s still an unusual sight. Light Show isn’t quite as proud as her parents, but she has their same desires for glory, and wants to put her special gift to good use—good use for her that is, and that means fame. Light Show aims to be a magician like Trixie, performing her own unique pegasus variation on the concept. However her control over her magic is amateur, and neither of her mothers know how to teach her to harness it properly. Luckily for her, one day while traveling Equestria with her mothers (as both still perform), the family lands in Canterlot, and Light Show manages to meet a certain performing hypnotist, with a veeeery good grasp on unusual magicks...

Also yeah I was inspired by Rainbow Dash’s metal wing from that one episode I figure that’s basically what their actual prosthetics look like in the canon timeline
