Here's a picture I decided to do related to SavDraws ' palette challenge. Today's colors reminded me of a certain half ghost superhero, and really wanted to draw it after seeing those colors.

Danny Phantom was a Nickelodeon cartoon I used to watch a lot when I was a kid, and unlike the other Butch Hartman shows, this was the one I watched when it first aired after my parents had cable. It's about a teenage boy who gains ghost powers after trying to turn on his parents' ghost portal, and uses them to save his hometown.

This show, alongside X-Men Evolution and the 1994 Spider-Man series were my gateways for liking the superhero genre, and was my interest during the show was going. I think the third season was a bit weak, but I still think it was decent enough, and I know the finale isn't what fans wanted, but I rather have some sort of closure than none at all. Sadly, this cartoon was the last one I liked because once that was done, I just didn't have any interest on cartoons anymore thanks to my middle school years diminishing it. Though it was a few months later that another show from Cartoon Network regained it back, though I won't tell what it is since many of my friends and watchers know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, I always wanted to draw Danny Phantom prior to joining the site and even had some crazy fan fic ideas when the show was going, but I didn't know how to draw the characters well until later on when I looked at pictures online, though the issue was that I didn't had the interest on the show anymore. Worse was the recent shootings related to a fan last summer. But I decided to draw out Danny and see if anyone would be interested in doing fanart related to the show. Plus it was to a former friend I know here that wanted me to draw him, so I hope that friend likes it!
