Description Grey Wolves, known as Timber Wolves, are excellent hunters, often following target animals for more than a day, relying on endurance rather then speed to capture their food. They live in family groups called packs and have organised social structures which is led by a dominant pair. The dominant pair mate for life and are the only wolves in the pack that breed, with the rest of the pack made up of their grown up offspring.
