I wanted to do something similar to my Sonea/Dorrien sketches pic but about Dannyl and Tayend. So here.Black Magician Trilogy, Dannyl and Tayend belong to Trudi Canavan. Sadly none of these scenes happened in the actual books.
A lot of irrelevant text in this... Used a normal traditional pencil for a change.

I agree, the amount of fan art is minimal. The series has probably been left unnoticed due to other series, such as Harry Potter, being more popular.

This brought a little tear to my eye as its so good and then they break up. But Achatti was awesome and after he died Tayend was so lovely to Dannyl and there might still be hope for them!

I haven't read the latest Trudi's books yet, but it really freked me out when they broke up... I kept hoping they'd come to their senses. So I can't really say anything about the newest things that have happened to them. But we'll keep hoping : )

You really have to read her second trilogy. So much happens, its crazy and there's and awesome plot twist with Sonea.

Oooooh... I LOVE these!
Especially the hairbrushing one and the lost in thought-one.
The hug looks cute, but a bit unnatural to me. But maybe it's just because I always hug with both my arms around the other, below shoulder height.

Thanks!! Hugs are terribly difficult. I've tried and practiced a bit, but it never looks right. I usually hug people like that, or more like what that's supposed to look like.
