Description This picture took me FOREVER to draw and colour. I apologise for the rather bland background--but I did what I could as best I could. Its meant to be a sort of compromise between Zuko and Katara; he's in water, and she's standing under the sun. Their elements and all.

And I KNOW! Katara's arm! SO DAMN WRONG!

Anyways, this scene is rather like Zuko asking Katara for her forgiveness; and she finally gives in. We know they're meant to be together. ^.^

Done in pencil, and colour pencil. Absolutely no ink.

And taken with a camera in crappy conditions; hopefully, someday, I'll be able to take a good scan of this.

WOOOWW You've done a SPECTACULAR job on this!!

I really LOVE the coloring! it's so soft yet fierce in the way that it makes them stand out as more than two deminsonal characters Katara's hair is beautiful and I think you've mastered their appearances! the only thing I'd have to say is maybe work on their arms from the back (the ones reaching out) it kinda looks awkward to not see the rest of their arm I'm not sure how to help... since I can't draw, but... overall, the picture is really great!!

I think you've done Katara really well. I don't know about Zuko but Katara's colours came out really pretty and warm.

It's good to see that you can do tanned skin just as well, if not better than, pale skin. I really like the way you've done her hair as well. You've... untied her braid, if I'm not mistaken? ^^

Adapting other people's illustrated characters to my own style is something that I rarely dare to do (unless I read them first, like what I did with your Footsteps characters). So I give you snaps for guts!

HAHA! It took me FOREVER to find the right tone for Katara's skin, so I'm glad someone noticed it. XD And, I -heart- Zuko in this pic, and its really, really rare that I love my own pics this much. So, yeah. I think I did a pretty good job with him. XD

Thanks for the comment, and I'm glad you liked Katara's hair! And this character design of hers is from season 3-the braid is untied. But I changed the style a little. ^.^
