Description
The Lideron is a predator of the southern ocean of Agrona. Commonly stalking drop-offs and searching rocky crevices to corner prey. The long tail of the lideron helps its pursuit of prey with short bursts of speed. The jaws of the lideron will rip into the flesh of its prey and the razor-sharp teeth are used to shred the flesh. The Lideron is thought to have tough skin as multiple scars cover its body. These scars are from courtship as carriers and males would assert dominance. The large black spots along the tail of the lideron are false eye spots meaning to trick potential larger predators from attacking by tricking them into thinking the lideron is larger than it is. The smaller front pectoral fins are used for control and stability, their length adding to their maneuverability. The blunt head holds powerful jaw muscles that drive its needle-like teeth deep into prey. A bladder inside of the throat expands to create a suction force to pull prey into its jaws from short distances as well. All of these traits make a very formidable predator.
