Challenge Summary:
Try to pixel your own original character in the sprite styles of other RPG Maker+ game creators as accurately as possible! You can add, subtract, or swap out creators as you'd like (a link to a list of additional creator styles is above). For creators with multiple games/styles, choose one that interests you best. Additional instructions for sprite size, font etc. are in the sta.sh files provided.

Things to consider:
- Try to match the colors in-game for a more accurate look! If a color isn't used within the game, think to yourself: which version/shade of that color would suit the game's pre-existing palette/overall tone best?
- Substitute colors if necessary. If a game's palette is drab and your character has a saturated palette, try experimenting with in-game colors that might act as good substitutes for the palette you're trying to convey.
- Pay close attention to the lines, shading, etc. You may be inclined to do things one way or another (using bold outlines, flat-shading, etc.) out of habit, but remember that part of this challenge is discovering how other artists use line/color, even if it's outside of your comfort zone!

HARD MODE SUGGESTIONS (completely optional!)
- Replicate large sprites (1BitHeart, Dreaming Mary, etc)
- Replicate the walk cycles of each style as .gifs
- Replicate pixel talksprites, battle sprites, etc.
- Try doing it from memory without references! (not recommended unless you're very confident!)

NOTE/DISCLAIMER
This meme is meant to be a fun little exercise to explore different styles and to discover how different artists use line/color to create their sprites. The sprites created for this challenge should remain exclusive to this challenge; in other words, please do not use sprites that mimic other people's styles in your own project/game unless it's a) a fangame of said-series and b) the creator has given you permission to replicate their game's likeness in your project!
