for months now, i had been planning on designing a website for myself. finally getting around to doing so.this is an idea for an introduction image on my main page. i am posting this partly to garner opinions and partly to show the stock providers the finished result and grovel for permission to use this online.
am still such an amateur.
the rose was nearly the death of me.
the song is one of my favorites.

the font is "baka too" again. that is my default "handwriting" font.
the lyrics are from "world in my eyes" by depeche mode. from their violator album which is, hands down, one of the best albums ever created.

I would have a few suggestions.... you could try it out this time or some other:
make some kind of older paper your background and put the blood brushes on "linear burn" the effect you'd get would look so much more like blood! And what about making a trail of blood down to the rose to also "frame" the text on that side and additonally gives the impression that the rose bled...
Just a lot of creative juices flowing
