I like the title youΒ΄ve chosen for this capture - it conveys very well this feeling of belonging, with the water seemingly "sticking" to your hand, like truly a bond between sea and man ... which despite this bond are still entities for themselves, as we are (unfortunately ) not dolphins, or whales which indeed inhabit this amazing niche. This is how I feel about this, once again, beautiful picture of yours

Thank you. We came from he sea once, I don't think our bodies or minds have really forgotten that.

"We belong to the sea" is also the title of an old Aqua song.

ThatΒ΄s certainly true! I love this thought/fact ... ItΒ΄s no surprise itΒ΄s such a popular place to be, also for therapeutical purposes -- or that the little mermaid is such a popular figure So ... I never understood why she so eagerly wanted to become a humanΒ  ( I only know the Andersen version and Disney, of course)Β  ... yes, love and such, but ... hm .. just no!

Oh, totally forgot about that one - a funny little reminder

Great idea, brilliantly executed - shadow detail with highlights not blown - bravo!

I was going to nominate this for a DD, but see that you were on that list a few days back (with another fine piece).
Excellent work. And I love that it's with a 100D - not a 5D. It's the effort put in by the photographer, not the raw tech, that makes for good images.

Thanks a lot! And I agree, when the light is just right, and the world gives you something beautiful to capture, it doesn't matter what gear you use.

When I saw this, my heart stopped. This is perfection in every way. The bokeh, the way the light goes through the water. Very mystical, beautiful.Β

Thank you so much for those kind words! I hope your heart is beating again, so I'm not guilty of murder by art.
