Seeing this view for the first time was quite extraordinary. Looking up at an ancient bristlecone pine that has been standing for thousands of years, and then seeing the milky way beside it as if they were working together in perfect harmony. I would easily give up great light for views like this. Not another soul or sound around while I stood here alone just admiring this tree and the skies above. One of the most eerie and memorable moments I have had out shooting.Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest- California.

Absolutely dreamy . . . it looks like you walked right into a fantasy to take that! It makes me want to travel out to somewhere with no human lights around so that I could see the Milky Way so much more clearly!
