Looks really awesome and extremely futuristic and rad looking really science fiction and fantasy weapons I love your shotguns pistols rifles carbines and more really love your science fiction and fantasy universe that I hope you are working on because it would be amazing and incredibly wonderful and cool I hope to get graphic design software to model my own designs sleek and futuristic but practical and lean human and alien really nice however the weird drum battery looks off-putting is that multiple barrels I have seen scope looks wired and really short almost too short for a shotgun but not for a sawed-off shotgun

Honestly, this is an incredibly well-designed gun. Just looking at this you can to some extent image both what it would feel like to fire and what it would feel like to get hit by. Personally, I've never heard of a concussive shotgun but the idea works and the compact and sleek design helps compliment the idea really well. The attention to detail is impeccable and it really is a well-designed piece of art. It's also worth mentioning that any sort of weapon can be marked down on originality for the sole reason that for something to be 100% original you would need to create your own type of gun that the world had never seen before. Or at least one that you think the world hasn't seen before.

hi mate. tnx for positive revies. I used to start with profile of real weapon to hit proportion and this one I began with PPSH 41. real weapon from second world war. I  made it just heavier and longer. I did too much diferences into design and turned it into shotgun eventually

I love the concept & presentation overall. Your technique and vision are clear and looks like a fun gun to take to the range in 3020. It's a futuristic shotgun yet I wish that it would have a more noticeable / complex color scheme or blend of metals - maybe some Silver or Gold parts to enhance some of the small details you've put in. I also don't see why you would have a scope on a shotgun as it's not a far range weapon per say. The future may hold different bullets or laser beams yet mentally looks odd as shotguns are meant to be up close and personal. It would be awesome in the future to also include a top view or the details of barrel inside. Dope piece overall !

Cheers !

Hi tnx for positive review. you are right about texturing and coloring. I did it in quick way. just used carbon material and few stamps and labels... maybe next time ...

As with every design I've seen of yours, it was immediately identifiable as yours at a glance, before I actually looked at the author - and that's a good thing.

This design really speaks to be, as it has this "classic rifle" look with a strong sci-fi flair to it - and reminds me of the Johnson M1941 with its rotary magazine, which is one of my favorite-looking weapons of all time. Little touches like the sling loops and little texts/labels on everything really bring the design to life, and I enjoy how just giving the rifle a cursory overview, you can intuit how it operates and reloads.

Trying new styles certainly couldn't hurt! Though I am quite fond of your current aesthetic, I'd like to say.

Nice.  I bet if energy weapons ever happen they'd all have tripod rails - even shotguns.  If there's no recoil, there's no harm having a fitting for stands and mounts just as an steady/prolonged aiming aid.  Wonder how tired you are of peoples opinions

Love your stuff.

peterku In reply to McShelving [2019-03-06 08:55:50 +0000 UTC]

I am not physicist but I think there always be some recoil. momentum is always there. Even when you use your flashlight, then photons coming out of flashlight are pushing you back. that force is just too weak to notice  or measure it.

McShelving In reply to peterku [2019-03-07 10:55:46 +0000 UTC]

Not to weak to mention though apparently   Yeah it's nominal if it's photons.  But its your gun so if you say there's recoil then there's recoil.  It could still propel energy-rich matter of some sort.

On first sight it looks classic. On second thought, though, i wonder about the choke ... is there a spread of "projectiles" or is it more a raw pulse of power for breaching barriers and disabling single opponents? I like the Red-Dot-Scope - makes sense on a weapon of this scale.

Mostly impressive, but tell me two things: 1) is a gauss weapon? To use batery instead of black/gunpowder, that's the tecnology, I assume; 2)If a shotgun is a close quarters weapon, why does it have a scope?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

peterku In reply to feyxnando [2019-03-01 20:11:57 +0000 UTC]

tnx you. internal technology I left for imagination. and I red that modern shotgun slugs can be used up to 200 metres, so I put there magnifier.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

McShelving In reply to peterku [2019-03-02 15:02:37 +0000 UTC]

Ballistic ammo is subject to gravity and has an arc.  Energy weapons probably don't, so magnifying sights would be particularly useful.  What you aim at you hit, so a clear picture of it with a crosshair would be nice.

Something to note - if there's no fall arc, sights never need to be adjusted except for magnification focus, but that should be automatic.  Point is, if advanced weapons like this are around, sights would probably be very small and have very little furniture and minimal border around the lens.  Nice FAT sights devices on energy weapons would have various modes, like heatmap, enhanced illumination, penetrative optics, whatever.  Point is, I really doubt energy weapons would have knobs for adjusting for distance.  But the scope on it does make it look cool and gunny and legit.

peterku In reply to McShelving [2019-03-06 08:50:10 +0000 UTC]

yea you are probably right., but you can always say there is some extra feature like termovision etc,,, what need some knobs or buttons . in fact I have several modeled scopes and sights and just put it on model I actually working on so I save a time

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

McShelving In reply to peterku [2019-03-08 05:26:33 +0000 UTC]

If sights autoadjust for distance, I imagine the firing cone (since it's a shotgun) would have to adjust too, so the radius of effect-on-target is always the same whatever the distance.

*nerd*

Makes sense, when I looked the photo, I didint think in alternative ammo, like a simple slug or tracing ammo.
