Thanks Sarah.
Me too, tho French comics tend to keep there colors minimum, the book looked god but could have been much richer.

some thing about the spotting of the blacks to define and draw the eye does not work for me here.
Not every brick or wood plank needs be fully out lined.
I suspect the setting was meant to be very dark, few light sources. was this some thing to be left to the colorist?
My personal philosophy is leave little to the colorist, its lazy. Any publishable work should be able to stand on its own in bW before the colorist ever gets near it.
The angles are reasonably sound.
The proportion and an subtle aspect of fore shortening would have been well played in the extended gun hand for dramatic effect.
How ever, with a little re-working and a few more finishing touches, I dare say this work would be worthy of the walking dead it self. Thats a compliment.
This commentary is meant to be constructive criticism in nature. It is directed specifically at neither penciler nor inker.
Be well.

The art is for colors and therefor isn't meant to stand in B?W, I agree with you and normally approach each page thus...but as I didn't ink the book as a whole I went with what was developed before me.
To each his own tho, I loved working on these pages.

This (and the next page I'll be posting) where from years ago.. from when I was still in NYC. I can't always post pages from current works but do when I can.
Hope things change for ya, love seeing your new work.

Well done sir. I find his pencils quite intimidating, though he is a sweetheart to talk to.
