Whoa, Rhaia is supposed to be the reincarnation of Calabi, and I'm not sure if it's intentional or ironic that Nadia has the same red streaks that Yau has... Very sad but beautiful picture by the way

Well, people SAY that Rhaia is the incarnation of Calabi, because there haven't been any phoenixes around for 2000 years. But according to Rhaia, she's just another Phoenix. :3 Wonder who is right....
As for Nadia, while I haven't been able to draw much of the world yet, the Blue/red, Red/Yellow theme is pretty common in the animal Kingdom of Calabi Yau. :3 Plus she's a mermaid. Would be weird if she was the reincarnation of the blue Phoenix Spirit, no? ;3

I've got a bit of an odd question.
What were the personalities of Calabi and Yau like?
Being immortals, were they, like, above having "human" (for lack of a better term) emotions, and had more... "primal", feral emotions? Or did they act like, well, "normal" people?
And what were their individual personalities like? Or, being twin goddesses, were they pretty much the same, personality-wise?

Seeing how Calabi was created by Yau as an extension of herself, they are pretty much the same person. And they had only eyes and attention for each other, so their spectrum of emotions were very limited. All they knew were endless love for each other.
Though they did show subtle nuances to their personalities once encountered by the Empire right before the Great Fire. Yau was the Spirit of Knowledge and Creation, so she was slightly calmer and more understanding. While Calabi was the Spirit of Life and Aspiration, showing a more sensitive and reactive personality.

Interesting, I would of thought that Calabi would of been the "original", seeing how its her Rhaia gets mistaken for.
How long is right before? Since they were immortals, that could mean anything from several months to a 100 years X3

Slightly off topic, but was Dewdrop around (I know she was alive, but I mean living in/visitng) the Calabi Yau forest around that time? And if so, was she still... sentient?

Dewdrop was around at that time. How she avoided the fire is still a mystery. Also, the Calabi Yau Forest is the name of the world... So she couldn't really have been anywhere else. :3 Around 1000 years after the Great Fire (which means around 1000 years prior to the current time-line), due to a certain event, she loses her "sentience".

Ahh, I thought that perhaps she could cross dimensions by going fast enough (88.8 miles perhaps XD)

She can phase into other locations in the same world by running fast enough. :3
The event will be covered. And as for how she used to be before the event... Is still a mystery. :3 There will only be a small glimpse of that.
