In lack of better things to post...I took on a commission about two cons ago.
Don't go getting your hopes up, because I'm not accepting any more atm.
It was a one-time deal... He threw lots of money in my face and my inner prostitute just said "Yes." ;_; I'm so dirty...The piece is a bit character-less and maybe even a bit stiff and not remotely close to what I normally draw. I hope you guys don't mind me posting it here.

I think this is one of you strongest pieces in handling a concept. The biblical definition is challenging to get right and what it describes is an incredibly majestic creature. In the bible there are several descriptions. You pick up in certain places that the seraphim Have more hoove like feet, and eyes all over the place. I love how you folded the wings tho

Incredible! one of the coolest interpretations of a Seraphim. You did good adding that fire-y effect, since the word means "burning ones"
The bible describes them as "using two wings to cover their face, and two wings to cover their feet, while the other two they use to fly"
...So I guess the lower wings could've covered the feet a bit more. and who knows this is pure interpretation, but maybe they would have the center of their body a bit more exposed. Β Overall pretty awesome though. Thumbs up!

Sorry to barge in, I'm not the artist, but this is a depiction of a Seraphim, therefore not being a "character" but an illustration of a type of angel. I'm pretty sure since it's spiritual, it wouldn't necessarily be female or male xD. Β But I agree! this piece is amazing, I'd love to print this myself. but alas it was a commission, I don't think it's up for sale.

all these opinions on gender and looks now I'm not being conrtoversial maybe idk but who's to say this isn't this artists conception of what a seraphim looks like besides doesn't matter in times of pain or need of comfort why wouldn't an.. angel or seraphim maybe even god show themselves to us as what we are most comfortable with what would be the most heart or soul warming wjat have you ah well this isn't about me I like this drawing if this is drawn by hand would make this beautiful art all the more awesome

I absolutely love this piece. The fact that you did cover her shows you're skilled enough to do something outside your usual repertoire. The sheer amount of detail you put into this piece is applaudable. And this is the most accurate depiction of a seraphim I've seen yet. 6 wings, 2 to hide her face, 2 to hide her feet, and 2 to fly. Very majestic.

Your version has the wings covering the body and not the eyes and the feet, but other than that I really like this picture, I think it really brings out the powerfulness and strength of the Seraph.

Money makes things happen, for better or worse. I like it, though it is a bit stiff as you said. Even so the wings are well made. More wings could be very good, just mixed with your normal style. So Wings+Rough+Adorable= Stuff...
