Description That would be my first acrylic painting. Not so fancy and obviously not so ingenious.
It took me about two hours working on that. I used one big brush on the whole thing.

Not so ingenious...but very good as far as shape, light and proportionality. The background is awesome, but are you trying to create a lightsource? If so, try to ha ve the lightsource affect the object a little more. Hope this helps!

i wasn't trying to create anything, i was trying out acrylics for the first time and i was trying to mix colors and see how well i do.

I really like this painting, the roughness is a great contrast the usually perfect butterfly. Gives it almost an abstrat look to it! I think you should paint more with the same tool.
