Description Just for fun to take a break from 3D Modeling and Animationg I am doing for my Bachlor Game.


She is just some character I sketched a long time before.
I tried to play around with blue and red contrast.
I am not really satisfiesd with it -.- and I know I definitely took a to long break from drawing and painting and it is so demotivating at the moment-.- urghhh

Done in Photoshop CS4 | 6 hours

hey, schön wieder was von dir zu sehen.

die farben gefallen mir mal wieder sehr gut!
der bauch kommt mir etwas maskulin vor, er ist sehr gerade und etwas steif bzw. wäre es eine sehr schmal gebaute person könnte es gerader sein, aber dafür ist er dann im verhältnis zum rest des körpers zu breit.

trotzdem nicht schlecht, was du so in 6h raushaust, da merkt man, dass du bei den fantasy-charakter illus schon eine gewisse routine hast.

wünsche dir viel erfolg für deine bachlor arbeit und hoffe du hast öfter mal zeit zum malen!

Iwie liegen mir Bäuche nicht so, die sehen immer so komisch aus bei mir XD ich verhau die immer wieder >.<
Aber das wär mal ne gute Übung für mich! Bäuche zeichnen

für ne arbeit von 6 stunden ziemlich gut ,wenn ich über lege das icha n meinem aktuellen bild 3 wochen ( 45 stunden arbeitszeit) gebraucht habe und eigtlich kein anfänger mehr bin >_<

Joa weiss auch nicht, ich hatte auch ned so grosse lust lange drum rum zu zeichnen, da ich grad ne wirklich motiviert bin

Aww, thank you! I sure hope so. I've been doing some small projects (mostly Pokemon stuff), but I have a bunch of projects I'm working on, both personal and commissions. Hopefully I get through the commissions I've got soon... I'd love to get some of my personal pieces done. Unfortunately that on top of a full time work schedule don't give me much extra time.

Great color choices, I like your usage of red and blue lighting and how they add highlights to the character. The blue highlights are particularly helpful to define the character's silhouette, otherwise the figure's shape might get lost in the dark background with the dark hair and cape.
