Phew! It's finally done!This is my senior animation here at college-- I had originally planned a narrative, but I ended up doing a more abstract animation to music.
So enjoy! <3
Music: Fantasy Pieces, Op. 73-11. Lebhaft, leicht.
Programs used: Adobe After Effects CS4, Adobe Photoshop CS4, Sony Vegas Pro 9.0
[EDIT] Sorry about reuploading (DA won't let me just edit the file itself)-- I fixed some of the movement and got rid of that strobing frame though. <3

I loved that this particular 'life' and 'growth' animation focused so much on moss and fungus-type life... I think most of these sorts of studies end up being about the 'prettier' kind of life, like fields of grass or flowers. I think your take was dark and warm, like where life flourishes best.

I have a lot to say on how much I loved this but first I'm just going to point out how I love how you connected the animation with the music, and if you were to roll some credits by on this it would almost be like the opening to a movie. This is really well done and it must've taken a lot of work to do something like this.

The misic and the drawings looks great . The timing is wonderful. I love the way you gave those little puffballs depth by making 2 go behind one tree and one going infront of the same tree.
I might be nitpicking but I saw a single flaw. At 2:43 the puff balls just dissapear and it makes some of the magic go away from the drawings. I understand that you put in a lot of hard work and I thank you for it.

Absolutely beautiful. The entire video flows perfectly so I can fully enjoy the calmness and beauty. It reminds me so much of Disney's wonderful Fantasia... Congratulations and thanks for this amazing video
BTW, the music piece is composed by Robert Schumann, right? And would you mind telling where did you get it?
