guy we met at the Oct 25th Camaro Rally in Williamsburg VA. He custom painted the stripes by mixing Inferno Orange Metallic, which is the stock body color with some blackRelated content

Its actually Inferno Orange Metallic. Canon always seems to have issues with reds and oranges.! Uggh Nikon was so much better!

You still have your D1X, so you can always use that, that is, if you did not sell the camera already.

No I had to sell it so I could switch to Canon back in 2004 which was better at the time. There was rumour of the D2x back then but only that. Oh well.

Maybe you can tweek the camera a bit for the colours, or use photoshop to try and correct the color of the car. Just use the selection tool and change the colour to what it should be.
Maybe down the line you might look into a different camera. The Nikon D90 is a good camera for the money, it is the same camera as the D300, only thing is that the D90 is not all aluminum like the D300.
Another deviant is selling their Nikon outfit for about $750.00. That also includes another lens. I do not remember the name of the person, though.

I've tried tweaking the camera...this and that. It's just how Canon's cheaper Non MarkD cameras are. Other's complain about it as well. I've thought about switching back to Nikon but it'd be too expensive right now as I have alot of lenses that are Canon. When I sold my D1x body only I made enough from that to buy the Canon body I wanted and a lens with some money left over!

Well, you can not go back to what you previously had. Sorry that things did not work out as you planned, but you got into a newer camera. I know that you will find a way to make it work for you
