Thanks. Yes usually handheld during the day but if I'm using the 50-500 I will use a tripod or monopod. Sometimes I forget to use it tho

I use the tripod for my car shoots all the time. I just hate cranking up the ISO on the 40D.

ISO 100. Since I use a tripod I don't really need anything higher unless the shutter speed is too slow. (10 seconds etc)
