Okay, so much about this picture needs explaining - first and foremost, when I decided to cosplay Yusuf.

Well, I decided maybe... 3 hours before this picture was taken? My friends had been geeking about Inception the entire time during Katsucon; I had never seen it before, but I was getting the gist based on all the jokes and references they were making. Originally, they had asked me to be Mal for the next convention, but had eventually decided I would make a better Yusuf. At one point, they disappeared to dinner, leaving Ariadne and I up to our own devices in the hotel room.

It was then we hatched the plan to find pieces for this cosplay among everyone's things. When everyone returned, Eames quickly helped me by cutting my Harry Potter (AVPM) wig for me, lending me his steampunk shirt, and applying the beard to my face, thus producing the closet steampunk for the team's chemist~!

It looks ridiculous, but I had alot of fun in this costume, but there was still one problem: I still hadn't seen the movie. All I knew about my character is that he was a chemist, was the "1st-layer" (though I had no idea what that meant), and that he drove the van.

So while everyone would go off making jokes and references, it became my catch phrase "I have a van!". So sitting in this stairwell, taking profile shots, I stopped everyone to begin my catchphrase... Only to end with "I have a prius!" That of course, demanded a picture of us pantomining being squished into a tiny car.

And uh... Yeah, that's it!
