Here's my entry for DA's Radical Racer OCC!

A backstory of Mary and her vehicle:

Mary is a girl who grew up in the suburbs of the distant city Fallen Bridge, a city where the biggest source of income comes from the dangerous races in the Red Desert. Daughter of Ava, who was a great pilot, dancer, and singer, with James, a great dancer, and mechanic, she dreams of becoming a racer as famous as her mother. Naturally talented, Mary learned to pilot from an early age. But this is just one of her many talents, as well as being excellent in complex physical calculations, she's an excellent Disco dancer, an old style of music. Unfortunately, besides her father, few people around Mary know and value her incredible dance skills, much of this is due to the antiquity of this style of music. Disco's last big hit was released at least 150 years ago.

Ava, Mary's mother, in addition to being an excellent singer and dancer, was a famous Red Desert racer. She has won numerous races, being the driver with the highest number of victories, unbeatable for exactly 37 races. Her husband, James, was never a very good racer, but he was an excellent mechanic, so he was tasked with maintaining her vehicle, an old, but very preserved, BT-02. Unfortunately, Ava died at the birth of Mary.

James is an excellent father to Mary. He taught her how to assemble and disassemble any and all types and parts of vehicles, from a simple bumper to the complex black matter generator used in most racing vehicles to generate the energy that powers their powerful engines. Furthermore, it was James who taught Mary to dance.

One day Mary found a strange object on top of her father's wardrobe, it looked like a stretched box with two holes in the middle, and asked her father what it was. James' eyes filled with tears when they saw the object that Mary was carrying. James explained to Mary that it was a Cassette Tape, an old device used to store music and videos. However, that tape had only one song on it. A Disco song, written by Ava, Mary's mother. It is a lively and agitated song, with Ava's voice and the sound of her guitar, and also with drums played by James. James gave the tape to Mary, along with an old but extremely well-kept tape player. Mary now takes the player along with the tape in all her Red Desert races as a lucky charm, and always listens to it in difficult moments.

In the Red Desert Races, all vehicles and equipment are allowed. From wheeled motorbikes to large trucks equipped with space rockets. Mary races using the same vehicle as her mother, the BT-02 equipped with a gravity inverter, which allows it to float at a height of up to 1m. To move this antiquity, there are two jet engines equipped at its rear. A large harpoon launcher is installed on its roof, which Mary uses to catch anyone who overtakes her. On the sides of the BT-02, there are thick metal plates to hit vehicles that are on its side, with the smoothness of a mammoth equipped with two jet engines.
