Description Trying to paint realism again.
It is said that in order to achieve sufficient details, you need to constantly refer back to the original image every 3-5 seconds - that was what I did during the detailing stage, except for the hair part.

Beautifully painted Desmond and the dark background works extremely well with the colour of her skin and dress. Great lighting and the hair is painted particularly well.

I try to paint realism without any fantasy element. It helps me to focus but sometimes I lose sleep becuz I can't get the face right Thanks so much Coral dear

in a word: BEAU-TI-FUL!! i wish my portraits came out that good. The hair is incredible and I can almost feel the satin-ness of her dress, great work with subtle lighting against the dark background. she kind of reminds me of Tabrett Bethell, but most blondes do lol. i think i found a new favorite site as well! lot of good looking subjects there.
