So uh. I've been doing some more graphics for the site, on account of November coming up again.I may not be working on Four and Twenty Blackbirds this time since I need to finish Gravity, but that doesn't mean it's going anywhere!

This is fucking fantastic, I kid you not. I kinda want it glued to my retinas so I'll never have to look at anything else again, other than Harry with his knowing look of wisdom and guidance and his wrinkles of magic and awesome. He's totally the kind of old dude you'd want reading you stories of golden eras and hard times and awesome adventures. And James lil' pot belly. And Heather's kickass determined attitude and Henry's messy yet somehow alluring look.
Bring the fucking glue, I'm ready.

I'm REALLY glad you get that feel from Harry-- that's definitely what I was going for and what I hope he gives off when I eventually write this damn thing. He is badass old storyteller and he'll whip those kids into shape. AND THEY'LL LIKE IT.

Even though I have seen this very picture in my rotting inbox and though I failed to comment on it earlier, whilst browsing through newer SH pics I saw that and exclaimed "Hey! That's just like Katanisk's art! I wonder who it's by!"
I'm not sure how much blood there is, but I now have a gash on my forehead from slamming my head against the counter in my stupidity and slowness.

Yes, ugh. Until this morning my nose was running like a naked hippie in the springtime.
And it's interesting you should ask that, actually! XD I might have talked about it somewhere but probably not anywhere prominent. It's a little hard to go into, but it's basically just some symbolism for a Silent Hill story called "Four and Twenty Blackbirds". The birds that tend to show up all over the place more or less represent these four guys.
There's more to it than that, of course (SILLY JAMES, EATING THE SUN LIKE THAT), but it's sort of longwinded and pretentious. XD The long and short of it is that it has to do with a lot of general bird mythology and symbolism, and my obscene love for metaphors.
YEAH, OLD MAN HARRY HERE. HIS WRINKLES GIVE HIM SUPERPOWERS AND WISDOM.
XD It depends on interpretation, but as far as I can tell in the game, Henry is pretty darn lanky. He's got one of those scrawny, noodly stoner builds.
