Allandra Karem left the solar system aged 18 wanting adventure. She soon found it as she signed on as crew for the exploration vehicle SANGEM 6 and ended up halfway to the Andromeda galaxy when they were hijacked by Spacepirates. Kidnapped and ransomed she managed to escape and ended up in the Tau Ceti system where she brought a part-share in a mineral freighter, the Stardreamer, which she is responsible for. A tough and dependable woman, she often voyages alone and is a wizard at stellar navigation. By the way, her shocking blue hair is natural, her parents having chosen the colour when editing her genes during gestation, some say it glows in the dark which makes a handy headlight if the electrics fail on the Stardreamer.
