I truly enjoy your use of soft shading and colors in this piece and the color scheme. From the soft gold pairing well with the earthy brown and vibrant red as well as the pseudo background of the green, ground resembling haze, you've really captured a calming and soft piece. I appreciate that though this piece captures the character, seemingly doing nothing with not much else around her, the way she holds her hat and the green kind of fills in the picture for the viewer. Maybe she's on a walk, or enjoying the day outside? Great work!

The vibe I wanted was just that she's enjoying everything, and I think that comes across. She's loving the simple things in life, like a pretty dress and a nice hat and a walk outdoors on a sunny day, and she wants you to love them too.
The background is reallllly lazy, but I think it works. You can intuit a lot more into it than is really there: The greens and yellows feel like blurry trees and low foliage and hazy sunshine. It's probably humid there, but she doesn't seem to mind
