What happened with the two in the picture? It's a tragic tale. They grew up together like brother and sister, but one day their home was invaded. The girl was shot and there was nothing the boy could do to save her. Her dying words were for him to protect the planet for her.

It's a wonderful pic. Shadow has a really cliche and over used backstory, but at least he develops a lot, that makes up for it. This really captures their relationship. ^^
