Does Steampunk count as Sci-Fi or Fantasy? I wonder why I never wondered that before...Anyway, this is dedicated to the amazingly awesome Clockwork Cabaret [link] the weekly steampunk radio show/podcast - "Music o'gears for steampunk ears". If you haven't listened to them before, do so now, great music and a really rather funny to boot!

Hey, thanks for the lineart! I was wondering if that's why it was posted, but I didn't want to colorize it without your permission. It'll be good practice and I'll link the lineart to the finished product. It's manditoary and I do it all the time with Joseph B222's lineart.

Steampunk is both science fiction and science fantasy, though in all honesty it probably leans more toward science fantasy. That's my take on it.

The best stories blur sci-fi and fantasy together -- something I feel happens in Steampunk and clockpunk do quite a bit! (Have you seen [link] ?) So I'd say 'Speculative fiction', which is a better blanket term anyhow.
Generically, though, sci-fi usually covers alternate history.

Yeah that is a toughy! I tend to go with sci-fi myself as it's dealing more with technological advancements than fantasty staples like magic or fae. Ish lol

Yeah, the common one is pulling print permission without warning. In one case I got reported for using someones stock without permission when it was actual stock from a $6 free use book and dated from the last century.

Ahh yeah, see we offer DA print permission regardless, and other prints just on a case by case basis (mostly to keep the lazy manipers at bay)
And man that is bizarre.. how are you supposed to ask for permission on that? *shakes head*
