He is a he, read the description on FA how ru was created! Phation/Rudragon calls him a he. The only thing is they got tired of everyone calling him a girl and decided that people call them whatever cause he was sick of arguing about it. Ru is a he and will forever be in the eyes of phation. It's the same thing with everyone saying Ru is Pink when he is a light red. Please do some research next time before speaking. I have been following rudragon from the beginning. They made a journal addressing this a long time ago but I can't find it now but point is. Ru is a he and he is a light red. : D

I did my research, and I have also been following him for years thank you very much.  phation said himself that Ru is whatever gender you want him/her to be, and has said it again and again repeatedly since that post was made. He has said, officially, that people can call Ru a boy or girl and be "correct" either way as far as he's concerned, as you've even admitted. Why he has decided to do this isn't particularly relevant, since it's his wish and official stance on his character. If Phation is saying that Ru is whatever gender you want them to be then that's simply how it is. It doesn't matter that the character started out as a straightforward conventional fursona of a male artist, what matters is what he is doing with the OC now. Artists make changes to their OCs over the years, and whatever the artist has currently decided for their character is what's official.

In any case, Ru is not your character so you don't need to make it your personal mission to go around correcting people about this uninvited, especially when you're wrong. Phation can do it if he cares to, otherwise just leave people alone and let them enjoy Ru in thier own way like he has decided to do. If Phation's true reason for doing things this way is that he just wants people to stop arguing about it already then your behavior certainly doesn't help him out with that at all. Maybe *you* can think about *that* next time before posting.

You're still incorrect. Ru is a he and the ONLY reason he stopped listing ru's gender is because of this reason because people like you and many others can not agree. It's rude and inconsiderate to how Ru was made and how he views his own fursona. I am not going further into this.

It was never about me. It's about how ru views his own character. He clearly views ru as a he. Sorry if you don't get that. -lesigh-

what zex is RU?i get this a lot if Ru is a boy or girl, when i first made him it was a boy, becose i the artest is a DUDE, but becose i get peps fight that he or she is that sex im have RU be any gender the person wants EM' to be. so i may make some pic of him more boy-ish or girl-ish, but yah what did you think what gender E' was?
