It is hard to believe that a green camo could be the same hue of surrounding vegetation.
In my humble opinion (meaning the expert's opinion that convinces my brain the most), should someone decides for only a camouflage without knowing exactly what it looks the place where they will be deployed, the most universal theme is the color RGB 808000 wich is a dark yellow.
In my humble and probably wrong opinion... when going with a green theme there is the possibility of being different than the surrounding vegetation, or there is the risk that that camo is perfectly valid only in a 100sqm area.
(if we forget the fact that breaking the human shape, not forming boss smileys, staying quiet etc etc contribute to the mimetization much more than how much hollywood wants us to think.)
I happen to know a funny notion about camouflaging: by a phenomena called pareidolia, when a human sees 2 lines above a central line, in the position of 2 eyes and a mouth, the brain will process the object where the stylized face appears. A problem in drawing camouflage is to make sure the suit or the equipment doesn't draw a face. But i guess this is a problem for illustrators, rather than photographers.

The Concamo pattern will also be available in more yellow colours for dry areas soon.
This is of course a woodland color mix.
But so far it is really mindblowing that it works in nearly every are we have tested so far - in european forests, of course.
