Description
An East Prussian Soldier using a Rangefinder in the new M-71 K unform. The uniform is currently undergoing field tests.

Designed to replace the old M-50 uniform, the new M-71 Kampf; all-weather uniform was designed to cut down on the number of different uniforms the army would have to provide to the troops. Previously the army would have to give each soldier, Summer and Winter Uniforms. The new uniform combined these uniforms into a single, high quality, all weather, waterproof uniform, reducing the cost. Because the uniform was intended to be basically worn at all times, each one was tailor-made for the soldier and he was expected to keep it in good order for any major damage would come out of his or her pay.

In terms of design, the M-71 K retained many of the old M-50's design aesthetics. The only major differences were the addition of black trim and internal waist and hip draws.

The only real change apart from the uniform was the reintroduction of Jackboots.
