ITS A PAINTING! WITH A BACKGROUND! AND COLOR! OH MY GOSH ITS A SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE!!!! Seriously tho, Im disgustingly happy with this thing, it worked! So happy

There is a contest going on for OCs, and I decided to draw one I'd never done before. Tahdah, Adria King. *tried* texture, but it just didnt look right. Oh well.

She is one of three main characters in a Time travel story: Kamryn (From our time), and Marai (from year 3007), are the other two.

Ah, I'll spoil the story for you, its just kinda confusing. (BEWARE LONG EXPLANATION AHEAD! Bear with me!)
Basically, it begins with Kamryn getting sucked into Marai's time. Buildings from all eras are popping up, people are falling through holes in time, etc etc. Marai is part of a group trying to fix it. Kamryn is the first person to fall through into Marai's time, so they set her time as one boundry, and their time as the other. They say, whoever has illegally attempted time travel must have done it somewhere between those two times.

But suddenly Adria comes through, and she appears to be from the 1800's - oh boy, now theres a bigger window! But Adria doesnt know what year it was, and apparently hasnt had any education. So shes put to the side for the majority of the story, not seeming to be of any use. Now they know the window is much bigger, but cant pinpoint it.

Now, you wonder, why on earth is she important? She only made life more complicated....?

Because Adria isnt from the 1800's. Kam gets a look at her locket (see the picture) and inside is ....something like a MP3 player from the future. Its dead, but the tech is there. Marai takes a look - its tech beyond his time too. It turns out that Adria is actually from several hundred years in Marai's future. A future where society recessed into a sort of second Dark Age.

And thats all you need to know, except that eventually it becomes clear that the only way to stop time from being ripped apart is what lead to Adria's medieval future. *sadness*

Mmkay, that was long. Oh well. So I've got one more picture of Adria to draw, and then I'll put up the finished "poster" for the contest.
