Oh I thought that much was clear and obvious. I just like the idea that one day it would be Dick and Damian in those same poses, so I made the clear tribute to Quitely's cover. I mean I took the exact same poses, and even the yellow background. I was deliberately making a reference to what was to come. So yes I'm ripping off of what's already been done, but isn't it at least cool to see Bruce and Dick like that?

Photoshop, but honestly you should be able to make something like this with free photo editing software too - as they say, it's not the wand, but the magician that makes the magic.

GIMP is free - you can definitely make something like this with GIMP

Photoshop definitely offers more tools to use, but this is such a simple image using simple lines and only 2 shades of color. Something like this is very doable on GIMP - if you can't do it on GIMP, you're not going to be able to do it in Photoshop, just saying. At the end of the day, it's just whether or not you can draw.

Haha yeah I guess, but he still kicked butt in that pants-less outfit! I remember reading an issue of Nightwing where Dick said that the reason why his original costume was so ridiculous was to make the criminals underestimate him...pretty much the opposite effect of Batman's intimidation factor. It works pretty well if you think about it. But still, I'd much rather have Dick in pants than in bare legs.

Oh come on man, my explanation wasn't enough for you? The whole point of the original costume IS to look sissy. The criminals wouldn't take him seriously, giving Robin the upper hand. Besides, it's not that bad a design - I think it looks fine in cartoons and comics. It's just that it wouldn't look right in real life...which shouldn't even be taken into consideration, but everyone loves realism in fantasies these days.
