Description I've been fascinated with the forensic reconstructions of Soviet archaeologist and anthropologist Mikhail Gerasimov lately.
Using Artbreeder and Photoshop, I've been attempting to flesh out some of his works.

This is Sungir grave 2 reconstruction from the Sungir Upper Paleolithic archaeological site. A Cro-magnon boy from the Klyazma River near Moscow who the Soviets had placed at approximately 28–32,000 BP. Genetically he was related to the Ancient North Eurasians like Mal'ta boy. The grave goods mark his culture as European Gravettian.
He was buried head-to-head with another unrelated boy. He wore well-tailored, highly decorated clothes.
