The pose recreation by your good self is pretty bloody superb.
Especially with the posing limitations of XPS.
Since the BG is exact, you obviously posed your 3D 'over' the PShizi.

I had to paint Priestess-Shizuka out of the background first. I painted the fucking bricks...
This pose isn't totally viable in XPS, her right shoulder and arm are entirely painted!
Every picture I do is a fresh torture...
I can't get over "Lightning X Shiva"'s lack of interest and am slowing down my output here.Β

Lighting X Shiva is an awesome piece of artwork & I actually think it's done really well!
15% of those that viewed it faved it! THAT IS FANTASTIC. I'm lucky to get half that ratio.
I know you quite rightly do art YOU like & not stuff with tits to get extra credit like most (me included).
I can only imagine how frustrating it can be to labour hard for what is seen as minimal feedback.

I'm a Final Fantasy fan and if someone else did that picture I would be in awe.Β

A very difficult pose, very time-consuming.Β
It's the same BG as Shizi's cosplay photo, so I had to paint her out of it in order to use it.
Not really a bechmark,"Kaine Saved Again" is my best picture of her.

Well, it's masterful! What a fantastic blending of real matter and imagery! (It did remind me, first off, of my Desi piece where she's against a brick wall.)

I had a hard time with that bloody wall, I put cartoon and Β cloth bump map on it because there was no texture where I painted over the original Β figure.
I had to paint her right arm and shoulder because the models arm wouldn't go that far back.
When I look at it I see all the flaws!
